Project ”Strengthening anti-corruption capacities and CSO networks in the area”

Project ”Strengthening anti-corruption capacities and CSO networks in the area”, is an EU-funded project managed by the European Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and implemented by a consortium led by HD European Consulting Group (ECG) in cooperation with DBB Akademie, Sequa gGmbH and Center for the Study of Democracy. The Project commenced on 20th January 2014 and has duration of 24 months.

The purpose of the project is to support the institutions in BiH to effectively implement the anti-corruption strategies and action plans in cooperation with civil society organizations and business associations.

The project will focus on strengthening institutional and administrative capacity of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption and Coordination of the Fight against Corruption to effectively fight and prevent corruption, support institutions mandated to combat and prevent corruption on different administrative levels and coordination mechanisms among them, as well as on support of cooperation and coordination among governmental and non-governmental organisations fighting corruption.

The overall objective of the Project is ”to contribute to the fight against corruption and effective corruption prevention in BiH”, while its purpose is “to support the institutions in BiH to effectively implement the Anticorruption Strategy and Action Plan in cooperation with NGOs and business associations”.

The European Union funds this project in the amount of 444.480.00 EUR from the Instrument for Pre–Accession Assistance (IPA 2010).
